Varisport, Inc. is committed to doing whatever we can to protect – and respect – the environment. To this end, we consistently engage in the following practices:

• Reuse all usable packaging and packing material
• Recycle all unusable paper, corrugated, and plastic
• Reuse and/or recycle all shipping pallets
• All UPS Shipments are offset (sent carbon neutral) – at our expense

All ULTRASLIDE® boards have the following environmental attributes:

• The solid base boards made from panels that are FSC (Forest Stewardship Council)-certified, ensuring they come from responsibly-managed forests
• The base board laminate is adhered using water-based, low-VOC (volatile organic compounds) glue
• The hardwood for the bumpers on the 8 and 10 foot boards comes from a well-managed forest in Southern Illinois
• The hardwood for the bumpers on our 7 foot boards comes from trees in and around Chicago that were cut down due to disease or storm damage; no new trees were destroyed to make these bumpers!
• All bumpers finished with water-based (low-VOC) stain
• Instructions printed on 100% post-consumer recycled paper
• Our custom shipping containers made from 100% recycled corrugated
• And an Ultraslide requires no electricity to operate!

Moreover, every single component on the ULTRASLIDE® is Made In The USA, most within 50 miles of our suburban Chicago manufacturing facility!
